Reports in Spanish paper AS claim coveted Benfica winger Angel Di Maria has been attracting plenty of interest from the Premier League. Clubs such as Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are believed to have made inquiries for the 22-year-old, but the player insists he only wants to join Real Madrid.

With the Argentinean standout keen to force a move to Los Blancos, Benfica may have no choice but to lower their €35M to €40M valuation. It is understood that Real are willing to part with not more than €30M to capture the young winger, and the Portuguese club will need to compromise if they are to cash in on the talented Di Maria.

Interestingly, the Madrid club are facing the same clubs in a race for the signature of a winger, much like when Franck Ribery was still available in the market. The Frenchman has since extended his contract with Bayern Munich after a very successful season however, and now the battle is back on, this time for Di Maria.
