Chelsea may have proven too much for Manchester United in last season’s title race, but manager Sir Alex Ferguson is convinced that the Red Devils will return next season and bring the Premier League trophy back to where he feels it rightly belongs.

“Next season we’ll go again and bring back the title to the best place in the world,” the wily Scot said on the league’s official website. “We’ll come back next year, that’s exactly what Manchester United do."

The 68-year-old manager also revealed that it was losing in the Champions League to Bayern Munich that bothers him the most about the last campaign, rather than missing out on a record-breaking fourth consecutive Premier League title.
