Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future looks increasingly likely to be away from Barcelona, as reports from Catalan daily Sport claim the Catalan club are looking for a way to offload the striker. It is believed that the towering Swede is being allowed to leave, so long that the €51M valuation is met by the interested party.
Although the price is considerably lower than the €69M it cost Barca to prize the striker away from Inter Milan, only few clubs will be capable of affording Ibrahimovic. The list of possible destinations is short, comprising mostly of Premier League clubs.
In the driving seat is Manchester City, who hold an advantage, having former Barca target Robinho as a possible bargaining chip. Manchester United, Chelsea, and AC Milan are the only other clubs believed to be capable of acquiring the expensive Swede in the summer transfer window.
