Despite enjoying a brief successful loan stint with Everton, LA Galaxy attacker Landon Donovan believes he won’t have an edge when the United States face England on Saturday. Although he now has first hand experience playing with the Premier League’s best, he claims it will do little to change how his side approach the game.
"In my opinion, England are one of the top teams in the world and top teams don’t have any weaknesses,” Donovan said to the league’s official website. "It would be hard for me to point anywhere and find a weakness in their team.”
Regardless of the lack of weaknesses Donovan sees, USA will be looking for him to exploit what he can when the two sides face each other, in what is seen as the most pivotal match in their group.
