Nemanja Vidic’s future will be decided after the World Cup according to his agent Paolo Fabbri, with no guarantee being made that he will remain with Manchester United. The Serbian defender was heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford throughout last season and this transfer talk seems set to intensify once the World Cup concludes.
"Now Nemanja is focused on the World Cup, but in July we will speak with Manchester United", said Fabbri. "I have received many interesting offers."
Vidic is still believed to be a target for Real Madrid who, despite Jose Mourinho’s arrival, would be prepared to pay €28M for the Serbian star. With Manchester United having swooped for England Under-21 defender Chris Smalling for next season, it could well be the case that Sir Alex Ferguson is resigned to losing Vidic for the 2010/11 campaign.
