Liverpool right-back Glen Johnson has expressed his confidence in a successful World Cup campaign with England, citing manager Fabio Capello as the reason. The Three Lions, upon the arrival of the Italian, have looked more dangerous than they have in a long time, causing plenty of optimism that the side could go all the way in South Africa.

"He is a very good manager and a nice man," said Johnson on Liverpool’s official website. "He is well aware of what he wants to do and he knows how to do it. He knows how to get the job done and is definitely a manager at the top of his game."

Capello’s ability to get his side back on track, after a disappointing opening draw, will be put to the test on Friday, when England face Algeria.
