Juventus are apparently considering a move for Germany star Lukas Podolski as their pursuit of CSKA Moscow’s Milos Krasic makes little progress. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are ready to wait for Krasic and instead finalise their attacking options for next season, with Podolski top of the list.

Podolski has big club experience, having turned out for Bayern Munich between 2006 and 2009, before heading back to first club Koln. Having only returned to the Rhein Energie Stadion a year ago, Koln will not part with the services of Podolski easily and further good displays at the World Cup will only drive up his asking price further.

Juventus, keen to ensure they challenge for Serie A next season, may yet decide to look elsewhere, but for the moment Podolski remains very much in their thoughts.
