According to France Football, Olympique Lyon standout Michel Bastos is causing quite a stir in Italy, now being linked with Juventus as well, after reports previously claimed city rivals AC Milan and Inter Milan were interested in his services. The versatile player, who can excel both as a winger and as a full-back, is currently on World Cup duty with Brazil, where he has proven a regular under coach Dunga.

It is believed that the 26-year-old has made such an impression at the Turin club that the Italian side are prepared to part with €18M in order to acquire his signature. The amount is equal to that which Lyon shelled out to sign the player from Lille just last summer.

Bastos has proven to be a defensive rock on Brazil’s left side of defence in the World Cup, and plenty of clubs, particularly in Italy, are taking notice.
