Inter coach Rafael Benitez has been deep in discussion with the club’s technical director Marco Branca in the past few days planning the Nerazzurri’s transfer window activity. One of the main subjects up for discussion according to Gazetta dello Sport, was the future of Brazil full back Maicon.
Maicon has emerged as a key transfer target of former Inter boss Jose Mourinho who is keen to take the Brazilian to Real Madrid. While Inter do not want to lose their rampaging full back, a big money offer could be hard to refuse.
One player who could be arriving at the San Siro and was also included in the transfer discussions is Benfica midfielder Ramires. The Brazilian only joined Benfica last year, but has already impressed with his workaholic style of play and earned inclusion in the Selecao’s World Cup squad.
