Barcelona coach Josep Guardiola is expected to continue with the Camp Nou club for a further two years with the side drawing up a new deal for their boss. The young manager, who has been a sensation with the Spanish club since taking the reigns has been offered an improved salary of €8M per year by the La Liga giants.

Spanish daily El Mundo Deportivo report that Barcelona are preparing the deal in time for Guardiola’s return from South Africa, where he is currently taking in the World Cup, a tournament in which several of his stars are involved.

Now under a new president in the shape of Sandro Rosell, Barcelona are keen to show Guardiola he retains their faith and that they will continue to back him to drive the side forward.
