Barcelona’s new president Sandro Rosell has told the club’s fans that he will not pay over the odds for Cesc Fabregas, no matter how much the Camp Nou faithful would love to see the Spanish international brought home

Speaking to Catalan radio RAC-1, during an interview to discuss the summer’s transfer business so far, Rosell was asked about Fabregas and the ongoing saga involving signing the midfielder from Arsenal.

"We will not pay 50 or 60 million for him" said Rosell, seemingly implying the price Arsenal are currently seeking for their star.

Rosell also confirmed that the club have yet to receive any firm offers for Zlatan Ibrahimovic after it was mooted that AC Milan might be a possible destination for the Swede.
