New Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson has said that he will not overlook any member of the Anfield club’s squad and those who were out of favour under previous boss Rafael Benitez can now start with a clean slate.

"Whenever a new manager comes in, players who have been on the periphery start to see it and think, ‘This could be my chance, I’ll have a go’.

"You’d be foolish not to give them that chance", Hodgson told the club’s official website.
