Manchester City are weighing up a move for Chelsea striker Didier Drogba. The Ivory Coast striker is highly rated at Eastlands and Roberto Mancini could spy an opportunity to snap him up. According to a French radio station, RMC, City would be prepared to pay Chelsea between €15-20M for Drogba.
However, it is likely any move for the 32-year-old forward depends heavily on Chelsea signing Fernando Torres from Liverpool. Should that happen then an interested transfer merry-go-round could be set off, which would send Drogba to the North West.
Currently, Drogba is away on holiday and Manchester City have not made a firm offer. Under contract until 2012, there has been little to suggest that the Stamford Bridge club want to sell at present.
