Bayern Munich have been impressed with Uruguay star Alvaro Pereira’s showing at the World Cup and are considering a bid for the 24-year-old according to TZ.
Pereira currently plays his football in Portugal with FC Porto and initial enquiries have revealed a buy-out clause of €20M. The Bundesliga giants would however like to pay less than that and it is being speculated that an offer of €12M may well convince the Portuguese side to cash in.
Bayern should get another chance to catch a glimpse of Pereira if he takes part in Uruguay’s bid to claim third place in their playoff duel with Germany this evening.
