As Fulham continue their search for a new manager, Italian coach Alberto Malesani has let it be known he would fancy the job. According to Tutto Mercato, the former Udinese and Panathinaikos boss is keen to try his luck in English football and feels Fulham could be a perfect fit.

Malesani was most recently at Siena, but is currently without a coaching position. The 56-year-old has great experience, having even managed Parma when the club were still a real force in Serie A. It was during his spell with Parma that Malesani won the UEFA Cup.

It remains to be seen how seriously Fulham will take Malesani’s candidature given he has no experience of coaching in the Premier League.
