Serie A giants Juventus could make a move for Diego Forlan if they cannot tie up a deal for Edin Dzeko. Corriere dello Sport report that the Turin club were very impressed with Forlan’s displays in South Africa and also his performance last season with Atletico Madrid.

The Uruguayan is under contract with his La Liga side until 2013 and has a buyout clause set at €35M. Juventus would be hopeful of paying much less for Forlan though, with the Old Lady thinking of a figure between €18-20M for an opening gambit.

Forlan is also on the radar of English club Liverpool, but only should they fail to keep Fernando Torres at Anfield.
