Martin Jol is expected to leave Ajax and take over at Fulham following reports from Holland confirming he has agreed personal terms with the London club. Fulham are now working hard to secure Jol’s release from Ajax as the Dutch club remain reluctant to allow their coach to leave.
Ajax however, are expected to relent and allow Jol to head back to the Premier League where he impressed as boss of Tottenham Hotspur. The Dutch side had been unable to guarantee Jol that several stars including Luis Suarez and Gregory van der Wiel would not be sold.
Jol is expected to sign a deal worth £2M a year when he finally secures his release from the Amsterdam side.
