Inter stalwart Javier Zanetti has revealed that Rafael Benitez is well on the way to transmitting his ideas to the Nerazzurri squad, but it would be unfair to compare him to treble winning boss Jose Mourinho. The Argentine star also believes Benitez can help Inter to be the winning side of last season.

Benitez has a tough task to follow in the footsteps of the Portuguese coach and it is essential that he quickly win over the trust and loyalty of players who last season would run through brick walls for the new Real Madrid supremo.

"We’re working very hard and very well with a new coach who, day after day is transmitting his football beliefs. When a team changes its technician some time is inevitably needed, but we all know we can be the winning Inter of last season."

The former Liverpool manager is all set to lose Mario Balotelli to Manchester City, but hopes to be able to add Argentina captain Javier Mascherano before the new Serie A season kicks off. Bastian Schweinsteiger remains a possibility too.
