Santos have threatened to go to FIFA over Chelsea target Neymar if they believe attempts to sign the highly rated striker go too far. The Brazilian side have already rejected two offers from the Blues for the striker, the latest being a bid of £20M.

Various reports had indicated that Neymar was moving closer to securing a transfer to Stamford Bridge, but Santos have rubbished these claims and president Luis Alvaro de Oliveira Riberio has issued a note to the club’s website outlining their position.

Santos’ president says that Neymar is not for sale and that "Santos will not tolerate unethical attitudes from any associations, national or foreign or agents, and will go to FIFA to ensure the club’s rights are preserved and that unethical actions are restrained by the highest authority in football."

While Neymar is believed to have a buy-out clause of about £30M, it looks certain that Santos will not allow the player to leave if they have it in their power to prevent it. Along with Chelsea, another English club West Ham, had a bid rejected earlier this month, believed to be for £15M.
