Former Serie A legend Andriy Shevchenko has praised the progress Napoli have made in recent years, declaring the southern Italian club as the best of the rest behind the two Milan clubs.

"Napoli has a very good team", Shevchenko told Goldenfoot.com, adding that they are, "cementing a group that has been working together for several years [with] very good players like [Marek] Hamsik and [Ezequiel] Lavezzi."

The Ukrainian also went on to laud the signing of Uruguayan World Cup star Edinson Cavani from Palmero, adding that he was sure Napoli could go a long way in this season’s Europa League.

And while domestically Shevchenko cannot see beyond the two Milan teams, he believes Napoli can "create headaches for all".
