Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho is keen to snap up Bastian Schweinsteiger from Bayern Munich next summer according to reports from Germany.
The Portuguese boss has already taken countrymen Sami Khedira and Mesut Ozil to the Bernabeu this summer and will raid Germany once again for Schweinsteiger.
According to German daily Bild, Mourinho told Bayern Munich’s midfielder after a friendly "I wanted to get you last year [when coach of Inter] but since I did not get you, next year you’re mine."
Mourinho is known to be a big fan of the German midfielder believing him to show incredible energy on the pitch. Schweinsteiger himself is believed to fancy a move abroad at some point and, at 26 years old, could well feel next summer that the time has come.
