Arsene Wenger is interested in snapping up young Palermo striker Abel Hernandez, but the Serie A club are desperate to see off Arsenal’s interest in the 20-year-old.
Hernandez has impressed Wenger and the Frenchman is said to believe the Uruguay forward has massive potential. Reports from Italy suggest the player’s agent has already been sounded out about a move and an offer of €15M could be sent to Palermo to try and convince them to part with the youngster.
Palermo however, are keen to keep hold of Hernandez and believe they have a real gem on their hands. The 20-year-old managed seven Serie A goals last season and is tipped to bag many more this time around.
