Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is keen to get to the bottom of the Ligue 1 club’s poor start to the season. Aulas witnessed local rivals Saint-Etienne score their first win against Les Gones since 1994, as they won 1-0 at the Stade Gerland over the weekend.
"The situation is difficult and serious", said the Lyon president to RMC also stating that he had "had a discussion with the staff and the players and I tried to share in the analysis."
Lyon face Hapoel Tel Aviv in the Champions League on Wednesday in a match which is already being seen as crucial in helping to rebuild the side’s confidence and win over the fans who are growing increasing concerned. As for at home in France, Aulas sent out a warning that "domestic measures will be taken", to ensure the club’s Ligue 1 form recovers.
