Zlatan Ibrahimovic has hailed AC Milan’s 1-1 Champions League draw away to Ajax last night as "a good result". The Swede scored on his return to one of his former clubs, but Milan, who pressed in the second half, could even have taken all three points.
However, following Ajax opening the scoring through Mounir El Hamdaoui in the 23rd minute, Milan quickly replied, with Ibrahimovic levelling the contest in the 37th minute. And despite pushing the Dutch side in the second half, and going close on a couple of occasions, Ajax’s former striker felt 1-1 was good enough.
"A point in an away game in the Champions League is always good", said the Swede. "In view of the game, it’s also a good result. My goal also gives me a nice feeling. It’s wonderful when you can help your new team just a few months after arriving."
