Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor has said he would welcome a move to Italy and especially Juventus. The Togo hitman is grappling with being part of the squad, rather than an automatic starter, at Eastlands, and is ready to experience Italian football.
"I’d like to play in Italy with Juventus. I think I’d do well", Adebayor told Tuttosport.
The former Arsenal man went on to say he had already spoken to an ex-Juventus player in Patrick Vieira, now a team-mate at Manchester City, about what to expect in Serie A.
"I have discussed this with Patrick Vieira, who has great memories of past seasons in Turin. Yours is a very technical style of football, I like it."
Adebayor has been linked with moves to Serie A in the past and had the chance to impress the Old Lady as he started for City in their midweek 1-1 Europa League draw with the Italians.
