Following a sighting of Kaka’s father and agent at AC Milan headquarters on Thursday, the Rossoneri’s Brazilian wizard Ronaldinho has said he hopes the former club favourite returns to the San Siro to wear the red and black again.
Real Madrid, who Kaka joined just one year ago, are believed to be ready to listen to offers for the midfielder, given an injury plagued spell at the Bernabeu. Both Inter and AC Milan have been linked with trying to take the Brazilian back to Serie A.
"If he returns to Milan, I will wish him a warm welcome", said Ronaldinho, who himself made the switch from La Liga to Serie A in 2008. "He is a great champion who was important to the club’s history."
The jury is still out on whether Kaka will leave Real Madrid in January, with several voices in the Spanish capital calling for him to be given more time to make his mark. Having paid €68M for the midfielder, Los Blancos would be lucky to recoup over half that amount at the present time.
