Montenegro boss Zlatko Kranjcar has highlighted Wayne Rooney as England’s biggest threat tonight. The former Yugoslav country sit at the top of England’s group, having won all their three games so far, and have emerged as Fabio Capello’s side’s biggest rivals.
Kranjcar, whose son Niko plays for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, said of Rooney, who has suffered troubles in his private life: "The chance to play will help his self confidence and restore his game.
"One thing is for sure, England are definitely a better side with Wayne Rooney than they are without him."
But while Kranjcar has identified Rooney as England’s main threat, he is not taking anything for granted, admitting that he is only thinking about second place in the group and passage through to the playoffs for Euro 2012.
