Bundesliga league leaders Borussia Dortmund have been linked with a summer move for Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose.
Klose will leave the Allianz Arena at the end of the season and has emerged as a target for a number of sides, most notably Lazio. However, Dortmund are now ready to offer the player the chance to remain in Germany and enjoy Champions League football next season – an offer Klose may find hard to refuse.
Reports from German daily Bild suggest that Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp has already sounded out the veteran striker, well aware that his side will need experience both to defend their title and mount a Champions League tilt next season.
