Real Madrid are keen to snap up Thiago Silva from AC Milan in the summer and will send a bid of €25M to the Rossoneri. Los Blancos tracked Thiago Silva last summer, but were unable to persuade the Serie A side to part with the player.

Now, according to Madrid-based daily Marca, Jose Mourinho is determined that Real should return for Thiago Silva, eyeing the player as a replacement for Pepe, who will not have his contract at the Bernabeu renewed.

Los Blancos however, well appreciate that their task in snapping up the Brazilian will be a difficult one. Milan see Thiago Silva as a vital part of their plans and, at just 25 years old, are prepared to build their backline around him.

Real Madrid though hope a bid of €25M may make Milan think again.
