Bayern Munich coach Louis van Gaal has admitted that he could be on the brink of getting the sack, but is not worried by the prospect.
The Allianz Arena side are struggling to make an impact in the Bundesliga this season, and currently sit fourth, a huge 19 points behind league leaders Borussia Dortmund.
Van Gaal’s men lost at Hannover (3-1) yesterday, piling more pressure on the Dutchman, and Bayern’s patience is being tested, despite the former Barcelona coach having led the club to within a whisker of a historic Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League treble last season.
"I am aware that the possibility of being sacked exists, but that’s okay", Van Gaal said.
"If it’s going to happen, it won’t be a problem for me and I’d only be sorry for my staff. I’ve had a long coaching career and I can deal with any situation in football."
