Russian giants Spartak Moscow are eyeing up a move for 23-year-old Lazio forward Mauro Zarate.
The Argentine has not always seen eye to eye with Lazio coach Edy Reja this season, with his manager berating him for a supposed lack of tactical awareness and a refusal to follow instructions.
Nevertheless, Zarate is highly rated by the Rome club and they would be unwilling to part easily with him. Spartak therefore, will need to make Lazio an offer they are unable to refuse.
Zarate is under contract in the Italian capital until 2014.
