Real Madrid may receive a boost if Gonzalo Higuain continues his lightening fast recovery from injury. The Argentine is believed to be targeting a return for the second Clasico of the season on 16th April, something that would give Jose Mourinho extra firepower when his side meet Barcelona.
Higuain picked up his injury before Christmas, though there was a delay on the decision to have surgery. The striker went under the knife on 11th January and then started his recovery process.
And it is going well, with the player currently spending time in the pool and undergoing strength training.
The striker is targeting a return for El Clasico at the Bernabeu on 16th April, and also wants to be involved in the Copa del Rey final to be played just four days later.
