Ambitious Russian Premier League club Anzhi Makhachkala have followed up their Roberto Carlos coup by snapping up Diego Tardelli from Atletico Mineiro for €7.5M.
The 25-year-old Brazilian has been prolific in front of goal in recent years and has five caps with Brazil to his name as a result.
Tardelli will be looking to improve on his previous spells in European club football, with periods at Spanish side Real Betis and Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven proving underwhelming.
