Russian giants Spartak Moscow has been linked with a move for Ajax hitman Mounir El Hamdaoui.
The 26-year-old has not made quite the impact expected since he arrived at the Amsterdam ArenA and was linked with a switch to Turkish side Galatasaray in the January transfer window. It is something of an open secret in Holland that Ajax would deal for the right price.
Reports suggest that El Hamdaoui, who enjoys a good relationship with current Ajax coach Frank de Boer, may have even held preliminary talks with the Russian outfit in a bid to find common ground for a deal.
El Hamdaoui would likely cost in the region of €6.5-€7M.
