Barcelona dropped two points in La Liga last night when they could only manage a 1-1 draw away to Sevilla.
Josep Guardiola’s side took the lead when Bojan struck after 30 minutes and it seemed an inconsistent Sevilla outfit would then struggle to contain the Catalans. However, shortly after half time the home side drew level, with Jesus Navas firing home to leave the contest all square. And 1-1 was how it stayed.
Guardiola was disappointed to leave Seville with just the one point and argued that: "We deserved more reward for what we did in the first half" in a game the Catalan coach felt Barcelona "controlled".
With Real Madrid beating Hercules 2-0 on Saturday the gap between the two now sits at just five points and with another Clasico to come in April, Jose Mourinho’s side could potentially find themselves just two points behind Barcelona as the end of the season approaches.
