Serie A giants Inter are reportedly interested in Lyon striker Jimmy Briand as they assess what additions they should make when the summer transfer market opens.
Briand only moved to Lyon from Rennes last summer, with the Stade Gerland outfit paying around €6M for his services.
Big things are expected of the 25-year-old at Lyon and it is unlikely Les Gones will be willing to part with a player who is under contract until 2014. Nevertheless, Inter may try to tempt Lyon President Jean-Michel Aulas with a bid which could hand him a quick profit.
