Reports in Italy suggest AC Milan are getting serious in their pursuit of Marseille's left back Taye Taiwo.
The Nigerian sees his deal with the Stade Velodrome side run out at the end of the season and has already confirmed his intention to experience a new challenge. Indeed, on a free transfer, Taiwo has become an attractive proposition for clubs right across the continent.
Milan however believe the player would welcome a move to Serie A and the Rossoneri had scouts watching Taiwo at the recent Manchester United v Marseille game in the Champions League according to Corriere dello Sport.
Taiwo's attitude towards a move to Milan is unknown, but the Italian giants may appeal, offering the defender the perfect chance to experience a new league and country.
