Another side have joined the race for Lille’s Ivory Coast forward Gervinho, and this time the interest comes from Spain.
Gervinho is already known to be the subject of much interest from clubs across Europe, with Arsenal, Liverpool, Aston Villa and Bayern Munich thought to be leading the chase.
Now Spanish daily AS report that Atletico Madrid have also entered the race and the Madrid-based side have not been put off by Lille’s expected demand of between €12-15M for the forward.
It remains to be seen where Gervinho sees his future, but Lille are certain to have a number of offers for their player on the table at the end of the current campaign.
