Atletico Madrid hitman Sergio Aguero has played down talk that he could move from the Madrid-based club.
Aguero’s side look unlikely to reach their pre-season target of a spot in next season’s Champions League, leading to speculation that the Argentine may decide to exit the Vicente Calderon in the summer.
And while the 22-year-old is aware that a number of clubs are interested in his services, he does not feel that now is the right time to leave Atletico.
"To know that there are many clubs interested in me makes me glad, but I’m calm", said Aguero.
The Argentine also reassured Atletico’s fans that he is not ready to leave the club and when he wants to make an exit then he will let them know, not play a cloak and dagger game.
"I’m fine as an athlete. When I want to leave then I will say it."
