Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho had admitted that while he believes Tottenham Hotspur have had a fine season in the Champions League thus far, Los Blancos will dump them out next month.

The nine-times Champions League winners have been drawn to face Harry Redknapp’s Spurs in quarter-finals in what is widely considered the standout tie of the round.

"It is fantastic for Tottenham", said Mourinho to BBC’s Radio 5. "They have a reason to be proud already."

However, the Portuguese warned Spurs that he considers his side too good for the north Londoners and Real Madrid will, ultimately, emerge victorious.

"But I believe we are the better team and I believe we are going to do it", said Mourinho.
