With speculation rife that Arjen Robben could be set to leave Bayern Munich in the summer, the Dutchman’s team-mate Thomas Muller has weighed into the debate.
The young Germany striker believes that, from what he sees at the Allianz Arena, that Robben does not want to quit the Bundesliga giants.
"I don’t think that Arjen wants to leave, at least, this is what it seems", said Muller, before adding that so much centres around him at Bayern.
"Here everything moves around him, he’s a champ, he’s doing well, and in a difficult moment like this that’s not easy."
With Bayern struggling to secure Champions League football through the Bundesliga this season, Robben’s decision could well rest on whether he is prepared to spend at least one season outside of Europe’s showpiece competition.
