Reports from Italy suggest that English Premier League side Aston Villa are interested in Inter’s defensive midfielder McDonald Mariga.
The 23-year-old has struggled to make the breakthrough expected into the Nerazzurri first team since arriving at the San Siro in February of last year.
Having moved from Parma, where the Kenyan became a key player, sitting on the bench with Inter has proven far from easy, giving rise to talk of a switch away from the reigning Serie A champions.
Mariga has been linked with a move to the Premier League before, with Manchester City tracking him closely before his eventual deal with Inter.
The Kenyan, who appears well suited to English football, would surely be keen on a switch to Villa Park, and would once again receive the first team football he craves.
