Jose Mourinho has confirmed that there is only one place he intends to head to after his job at Real Madrid is done – England.
The Portuguese has coached in England before, joining Chelsea in 2004 from FC Porto and continuing his upward trajectory. Now, having won the title in Serie A with Inter, Mourinho is bidding to add more trophies to his collection at Los Blancos, before returning to English football.
"It [England] is the country where I had the most fun and where I go after Real Madrid", commented Mourinho.
However, this does not mean a swift exit for the man under contract in Madrid until 2014, with Mourinho vowing to respect that deal and perhaps even sign a new one.
"My intention is to finish my contract here, I still have three years, and work well with the club, players and fans", said the Portuguese.
"And why not sign a new contract? But if all three parties are not happy, I’ll go to England."
