England star Phil Jagielka believes that the country cannot afford to take a draw when they meet Wales in their Euro 2012 Qualifier tomorrow. The English are currently three points adrift of group leaders Montenegro, although the Balkans side have played a game more.
"I don’t think we can afford to take a draw", said the Everton defender, "we definitely have to go there for a win to get to the top of the table, three points is what we’re going for."
And Jagielka expects that the game could be a fiery affair, with Wales desperate to salvage something from a qualifying campaign which has them bottom of the group by beating rivals England.
"Both teams will be wound up from the off and the fans and the coaches will want a fast start. There’ll be a little bit of spice from the first whistle, which can hopefully only be a good thing for us."
