Dimitar Berbatov is not looking for a way out of Manchester United according to his agent Emil Dantchev and would like to end his career at Old Trafford.

The Bulgarian striker has been linked with a summer exit from the Premier League giants, especially with Javier Hernandez and Wayne Rooney looking to be manager Sir Alex Ferguson’s preferred partnership up front.

But Berbatov, who is a target for German side Bayern Munich, is not ready to call it a day at the Red Devils.

"My client leaving United? Who said that? The media? I don’t even want to comment on certain rumours", said Dantchev to Tutto Mercato.

"He has a contract, he is happy in Manchester, he is the top scorer in the Premier League, why should he think about leaving?"

But Berbatov’s agent did admit that decision is not all down to the Bulgarian, but if it was then he would not be going anywhere.

"It’s not up to him, of course, but his will is to end his career in Manchester."

And Dantchev also admitted that even if there had been interest from foreign clubs, it was not at all certain that any of them had the financial capacity to sign the Bulgarian.

"Even these rumours don’t deserve to be commented on. All I can say is that if even a club showed an interest in the player I don’t think that it would have the financial possibility to sign him."
