Bayer Leverkusen’s Brazilian attacking midfielder-cum-winger Renato Augusto is interesting three English Premier League sides – Liverpool, Newcastle United and West Ham United.

Having cost Leverkusen €10M, the 23-year-old has impressed since he headed to Germany in 2008, finding his feet and rapidly gaining a legion of admirers.

Good on the ball, with exceptional close control and dribbling skills, Renato Augusto is quick too, and broke through into the senior Brazil squad this year, being handed his debut against France.

Leverkusen will be reluctant to lose their highly rated number 10, but a substantial bid will be difficult for the Bundesliga outfit to refuse. And it will be all change at the BayArena next season with current coach Jupp Heynckes moving to take over at Bayern Munich.

The Brazilian has clocked up 22 league appearances for Leverkusen this season, scoring seven times and providing two assists.
