Aston Villa assistant manager Gary McAllister has denied reports that the dressing room has split against manager Gerard Houllier.
The Frenchman has clamped down on the Villa squad since his arrival in the summer, banning the use of mobile phones and urging the players to be ever more professional.
However, the talk was that some members of the squad were unhappy under the former Liverpool boss and Villa’s performances this season have seen them embroiled in a relegation struggle, despite the big-money arrival of Darren Bent from Sunderland in January.
"I don’t think there’s any mutiny here", McAllister told BBC Sport, speaking to play down the talk.
"There’s been little arguments here and there, but nothing outside the realms of what happens at most clubs."
The Midlands giants will now focus on moving further away from the drop zone as soon as possible and then begin to plan for what they all hope will be a better 2011/12 campaign.
