Zenit St. Petersburg coach Luciano Spalletti has dismissed talk he could quit the Russian giants in the summer as just rumours.

The former Roma boss led Zenit to last year’s Russian Premier League title and has been linked with both Roma and Juventus, with reports from Italy suggesting Spalletti could head back home in the summer.

However, the Italian has pointed out that he is committed to Zenit and any talk is simply rumours.

"I am aware of persistent media reports in Italy claiming that I could leave in the summer and return to Serie A", commented Spalletti.

"However, those are just rumours and I am not in contact with any Italian clubs. I am fine at Zenit and I will remain here."
