Chelsea are being linked with a move for Shakhtar Donetsk star Dario Srna and are thought to have accelerated their interest in the player.
The 28-year-old can play all down the right flank, from full back to winger, and joined the Ukrainian giants in 2003. Since that time he has gone on to clock up nearly 300 appearances for Mircea Lucescu’s side and was also named captain.
However, the Croatian is ready for a new challenge and, with his contract coming to an end in the summer, is preparing to quit Shakhtar.
Interest from Chelsea will surely be welcomed by Srna and a move to Stamford Bridge would represent the kind of step up the Croatia star is looking for.
