Incoming Roma owner Thomas Di Benedetto is reported to have his eyes on Barcelona pair Gabriel Milito and Javier Mascherano as he bids to strengthen the Giallorossi side for next season.
The capital club have struggled in Serie A this season, culminating in their decision to sack coach Claudio Ranieri and appoint rookie Vincenzo Montella until the end of the season.
Di Benedetto is determined to make a splash in Italy and improve Roma’s options. Signing Milito and Mascherano from Barcelona, even though the duo are fringe players at the Camp Nou, could do just that.
